What is a drip?
A drip is one scheduled payment, like ₦40,000 for fuel every Friday at 2pm. You can have as many as you like, to yourself or to anyone else.
What does it cost?
Joining is free. Each drip that goes out costs a ₦50 SpenDrip fee, plus the bank transfer fee (₦10 to ₦50, depending on the amount) and the government's ₦50 stamp duty on transfers of ₦10,000 and above. You see every line before you start a plan. Card top-ups go through Paystack, and their card fee is shown before you pay.
What happens if I don't have enough money?
Your priorities get paid first, in the order you set. Other payments wait, and we tell you the exact amount to top up so everything goes out. We never send money you don't have.
Who can I send money to?
Yourself and anyone with a Nigerian bank or wallet account: GTBank, Access, OPay, Kuda, Moniepoint and more. We check the account name before you save someone.
Do the people I pay need SpenDrip?
No. They receive a normal bank transfer into their own account. If you add their WhatsApp number, they also get a message when it lands.
When does the money arrive?
At the time you choose, Lagos time. Transfers usually land within minutes.
Can a plan run for a set time?
Yes. Start today or on a date you pick, then let it keep going, run for a number of months, or stop on a set date. You see the last payment and the total before you save.
Can I change or stop a plan?
Any time. Change the amount, day, time or person, pause one plan, or pause everything with one switch. Your past payments stay in your history.
